Description

Description:

With the emergence of more and more interdisciplinary research fields in recent years, the work of scientific researchers is no longer confined to traditional single disciplines. Interdisciplinary studies have brought lots of excitements and collaborations, as well as more choices and opportunities in scientific research methods and article publishing. This speech will discuss some key skills in interdisciplinary research and publishing regarding the new challenges that researchers are facing:

  • How to conduct interdisciplinary research more efficiently
  • How to publish papers on interdisciplinary journals
  • How to communicate with readers who might have different research backgrounds.

Note: 1.0 hours will be counted towards the course requirement of PDEV 6770A, PDEV 6770B, PDEV 6770C, PDEV 6770D, PDEV 6770E and IDPO 6770.
