Description
Voyant tool is a free, web-based, and easy-to-use platform for exploring and analyzing a large amount of unstructured text. This workshop is designed to introduce you with the basic functions of voyant tool. In this workshop, you will learn how to:
– Importing text into Voyant tool
– Exploring the themes/key phrases within a text and to formulate research questions
– Discovering the patterns, distributions, and connections between the themes/key phrases and to answer research questions
– Creating and exporting your visualization
- 1 credit hour will be counted toward the course requirement of PDEV 6770A/C/D/E.
- Late arrival for more than 10 minutes will not be counted towards the 6770 course hours.
