The Library has just added lighting to the ‘point’ area of the LG4 study area.
The lights are controlled by a switch on the wall next to the window – so feel free to turn them on or off as appropriate to your study needs.
The Library has added temporary seating for an additional 36 students to the back hallway on the First Floor (1/F).
These seats are available during the exam period from now until 21 December.

We’ll see how much it gets used, and decide whether to do this again in the Spring.
This morning, most of the new furniture in the LG4 extension was opened for your use! This includes sofa chairs along the windows, and “Y”-shaped study carrels throughout, with seating for another 90 users.

It’s not just books
One artistic Library user was doing some lovely watercolor painting in a quiet corner of the Library over the weekend.
It’s beautiful, and we also appreciate how carefully they kept the furniture clean. 🙂

Now that the glass wall work on LG1 has finished, the closed off study area on LG4 has reopened.
The stairwell from G/F all the way down to LG4 also opened this morning.

By using this program, you can see which computers are in use, and which ones are available.
