USB Ports Now Available @ 1/F Back Hall Tables

The Library has purchased a few new power strips with USB charging ports installed. Should we get more of these for other locations? Or are they a waste of time and money? Try them out and let us know what you think.

LG1 Group Study Rooms Now Reopened

This afternoon all of the study rooms on LG1 have now been reopened.

This includes LG1354, LG1355, LG1362, and LG1363

No A/C: Note that none of these rooms currently have working air conditioning, so a big crowd can make the room feel very stuffy.

Power Added for More Carrels on LG3 and LG4

As part of the Library’s ongoing efforts to provide more power points for users, over 60 additional power sockets have been added for study carrels on LG3 and LG4.

LG3 saw just a few new ones, near the border with the new extension.

The bulk of the new outlets were added to LG4, as shown in this map:

More Power for Carrels on LG3 and LG4

As part of the Library’s efforts to provide power sockets for users, over 70 additional power sockets have been added along walls on LG3 and LG4.

Areas marked in red on these maps show where wall-mounted power sockets have been added:

The Library will keep working to add additional power sockets, especially along walls for study carrels on LG4.
