Join Library Workshops in April

The Library will offer workshops on copyright for authors and research data management.

Author Rights, Copyright, & Publishing

Publishing articles is one of the most common ways for researchers to share their results. But it can be complicated by copyright transfer agreements, funding agency requirements, etc. In this workshop we will address questions like:

  • What rights can I keep when I publish?
  • How can I use my own work after I publish?
  • What’s Open Access and does licensing relate to peer review?
  • What’s an APC (article processing charge) and is it normal?

1 hours will be counted toward the course requirement of IDPO 6770, PDEV 6770A, PDEV 6770C, PDEV 6770D & PDEV 6770E.
