Mixing work with pleasure: my life at Studio Ghibli / Suzuki Toshio Suzuki Toshio (鈴木敏夫) is a Japanese anime film producer, and a long-time friend of Hayao Miyazaki (宮崎駿) and Isao Takahata (高畑勲). Suzuki has devoted himself to Studio Ghibli for over thirty years, producing world-renowned animated classics such as “My Neighbor Totoro” and “Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea”.
