The Library will present two workshops on managing your own data, and using others’ data.
Data Discovery & Citation
Sharing and using research data is common across all disciplines. In this Library workshop you will learn:
- Tips and methods for searching & finding data sets in your research area.
- How to follow “terms of use” for data sets.
- Basics of citing data.
1 hour will be counted toward the course requirement of CHEM6770, ENVS6770, IDPO6770, LIFS6770, MATH6770, PDEV6770A, PDEV6770D, PDEV6770E, PHYS6770, SBMT6770 & SHSS6770.

Careful management of your research data can prevent disasters. In this workshop, you will:
- Look at data disasters scenarios & work out causes and solutions.
- Learn and share tips on data disaster prevention.
