Showcasing treasures of the University Archives and Special Collections, this inaugural exhibition brings formerly hidden gems out of storage, some hundreds of years old; among them, rare books in the history of science and antique maps of China.

At this exhibition, you will see:

  • Rare early editions of books by Galileo and Newton
  • The first western illustrated book on Chinese medicine
  • The first western map of China
  • Early publications of the University
