About the talk:

Canada and getting to know Jewish people for the first time. He likes to
ponder what he sees as similarities and differences between Jewish
and Chinese cultures, especially in regard to family values, educational
achievement, preserving traditions, and civic responsibility (repairing
the world).

About Dr. ZHU,
Born and reared in Mainland China, he received his PhD in Economics at the
University of Western Ontario, and later taught economics in universities
in Canada, Singapore, and Hong Kong. For the past 10 years, he has worked
