Subject Librarians

Subject Librarians

Subject librarians are your first point of contact regarding library services. They provide research coaching, faculty orientation, offer course and subject specific library classes, and liaise with faculty members for archiving research output in the Institutional Repository and DataSpace@HKUST.

I am an instruction librarian at HKUST Library and work a lot with the Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics Departments. I enjoy what I am doing. My primary objective is to work closely with faculty, staff and students,  one- on-one in research consultations, and one-to-many in library instruction and orientation.

I am here to help you in every way I can, so you are always welcome to contact me with any specific questions you may have or to make an appointment with me.

I am the librarian who serves the School of Humanities & Social Sciences  and the Division of Public Policy. I enjoy helping students, instructors, and staff find answers to their questions, whether it is how to use a particular database, or how best to find sources for a research question.

I enjoy working with faculty members to tailor-make outcome-based library workshops for their courses, to help students complete their course projects. Please take a look at some of the course guides and subject guides.

Don’t by shy, send me an email, or give me a call if you need library support.
