Twice a month, this email service provides interesting articles and notices about books to read or videos to watch. It was created to foster love of reading and increase general knowledge and interest in a broad range of subjects among HKUST students and community members.

Each issue consists of:

• Two selected magazine or news articles
• A Library book or media item recommended by librarians
• A featured topic such as "This Week in History" and "Museum Corner"

The service evolves from its previous version, Library SciTech Alert, which ran from November 2002 to May 2007. You may read all the past issues at the archive.

Subscribing and Unsubscribing

All students receive the Alert via their ITSC email account. To subscribe or unsubscribe, see the options for "Library-Readers-Alert-list" at: https://lists.ust.hk/cgi-bin/itsc/mailinglist/restricted/subscribe.pl

The service is also available via an RSS feed.
