Information Commons : Presentation Skills Advisory

Need help to improve your in-class presentation? Arrange an appointment and a librarian will observe you rehearse your presentation and make comments on:

  • How you organize your materials
  • Your timing
  • Your slides or other visual aids
  • Your voice level and posture
  • How you interact with your audience

This service is offered to both PGs and UGs. Each advisory session lasts about 45 minutes. Use this form to request an appointment. The session should be two days or more before your presentation so that you will have time to implement any improvements suggested.

This service does not discuss language use. To improve your use of English in presentations, seek help at the Language Center's Self-Access Center.
