Orientation For New UG Students

Library Orientation Tour: 27 August - 12 September 2012

All new UG students are strongly recommended by their Schools to attend the tour, which is a part of the First Year Success @ HKUST Program.

Our friendly staff will take you on a guided walk around the Library and show you the rich resources, conducive study environment and support services available. Hands-on activities are included for you to learn how to login to your Library account, search for course reserves and book a study room.

Information Literacy Tutorial

A web-based interactive tutorial which teaches you how to use the Library, how to find information from various sources, and how to use them for your studies.

Research Guide - Orientation to Library Resources

This guide aims to familiarize new undergraduate students to different resources of the Library. It highlights different functions of the Library catalog.
