Provides multimedia material to support the teaching and research needs of the HKUST community. It supports continuing education and activities sponsored by the university; and, to a lesser extent, the recreational needs of the campus community.

Music is mainly available on CD.
Language learning materials are mainly on Audio-cassette. You can borrow Sony Walkman audio-cassette players from the Media counter to use outside the Library.

The library has a substantial collection of monographs and journal and newspaper backfiles available in microform format (microfiche and microfilm). More information about the collection is available in the Microforms Pathfinder.
Self-service equipment is available for viewing and copying the documents.
A guide to using the reader-scanners and a guide to using the reader-printers are available.
The Microforms area is located on LG1 of the Library. Paper copies of recent back issues of selected newspapers are also kept here.
