AdWise

AdWise provides images and related information of market advertisements published in 40 Hong Kong newspapers and magazines from August 2008. The advertisements are arranged by categories, which can be browsed or keyword searched. Users can generate ranking reports by ad value, ad count or total ad pages under "AdWise Reports." Images can be exported in PDF format.

  • Provides the archival full-text of 4,000 journals from 1915-1993.
  • China Doctoral Dissertation Full-Text Database 中國博士學位論文全文數據庫
  • Includes over 115,000 PhD theses from 1999.
  • China Masters' Dissertation Full-Text Database 中國優秀碩士學位論文全文數據庫
  • Includes over 860,000 masters' theses from 1999.
  • China Yearbook Full-Text Database 中國年鑒全文數據庫
  • Contains 1,800 titles of yearbooks published in Mainland China from 1912.
  • China Reference Works Online 中國工具書網絡出版總庫
  • Contains 3,000 volumes of reference works.

Emerald Management Xtra 175

This trial version provides access to 175 full-text journals published by Emerald, a major publisher of management research. The range of titles covers all major management disciplines such as accounting and finance, marketing, human resources management, library and information studies, and operations and logistics management. Users can also view bibliographic details and abstracts of documents not covered in the trial.

Emerald Business, Management & Economics eBook Series Collection

This collection includes 400 volumes in 65 series with new content added each year. Featuring titles from the highly regarded JAI imprint, the collection covers subjects such as strategy, accounting and finance, organizational studies and economics. The books are available in both html and PDF formats, and can be cross searched with Emerald journals.

Emerald Social Sciences eBook Series Collection

This collection contains over 180 volumes across 37 series titles, giving access to contemporary research in diverse areas such as education, sociology, politics and linguistics. The titles included feature some of the most notable authors in their field, such as Austin Sarat, Paul Maginn, Geoffrey Walford and Thomas Scruggs. The books are available in both html and PDF formats, and can be cross searched with Emerald journals.

Metallomics

Metallomics is a subject that is receiving great attention as a new frontier in the investigation of trace elements in biology and is expected to develop as an interdisciplinary science complementary to genomics and proteomics. This timely new journal covers the research fields related to biometals and is expected to be the core publication for the emerging metallomics community as they strive to fully understand the role of metals in biological, environmental, and clinical systems. Metallomics publishes original research and topical reviews, which provide insight into the role of metals in the life sciences. Researchers in academia and industry working in analytical science, biogeochemistry, bioinformatics, biological catalysis, biological environmental science, cell biology will be interested in this new journal.

Nature Journals

At the requests of our faculty, the Library asked Nature to provide UST users access to the following three Nature journals. As we know the Nature journals are typically very expensive and the Library has a very tight budget, your comments on whether these titles are essential to your teaching and research needs are important to us. Kindly share this information with your colleagues as the trial will end soon.
