Place Names in Hong Kong
- Choice of name/form. Use as the heading the most commonly found name/form in Hong Kong. Refer from other names/forms in the authority record.
- Qualifier. Use qualifier "(Hong Kong, China)" for names in
English or romanized form, use "(香港)" for names in Chinese. Do not add
the qualifier "(中國)" after "香港" in field 651 ǂa.
- Parallel Chinese subject field. In Chinese records, supply
parallel Chinese field for the place name in subfields ǂa and ǂz. Do
not add "ǂz 中國" before ǂz for a Hong Kong place name.
