Symposium & Donation Ceremony
Sha Fei (1912-1950) was one of the most influential Chinese photographers of his generation, who captured some of the most iconic images of wartime China from the late 1930s to the 1940s. The Library is currently exhibiting 69 photographs illustrating Sha Fei’s extraordinary journey as a photographer. A majority of the exhibits were donated by Ms Yan Wang (Sha Fei’s daughter) to the Library. We have also invited distinguished scholars to join us for a symposium, details are as follows:
