This workshop will introduce you to resources you need to make informed decisions about postgraduate studies:

• Choosing a Program, Locally or Overseas
• Application Essays
• Language & Admission Tests (GMAT, GRE, IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)

2. SDC Platinum – Merger and Acquisition Database

SDC Platinum is the industry standard for information on M&A, new issues, syndicated loans, project finance, etc. The workshop will show you how to:

• Construct search query in SDC Platinum M&A Database
• Create M&A reports and League Tables
• Generate Tear Sheet

3. Effective Presentations (for students)
Part I – Preparing and Organizing your Content

You will learn how to prepare for an in-class presentation by:

• Setting the topic & theme
• Organizing content into structure
• Using a variety of presentation approaches

Part II – Delivering your Message

You will learn how to deliver a presentation by:

• Designing effective visual aids
• Using verbal and non-verbal languages
• Applying rehearsal strategies
